Arranging a Funeral
Verey Funeral Directors staff are available 24 /7 to offer expertise and guidance to you to ensure that your goodbye is prepared to respect and reflect your loved one’s life.

We offer all types of funerals with respect different customs, values and religions and will help to plan a service to reflect this.
One of the first decisions you will need to make is whether you prefer burial or cremation. Once this decision has been made we can recommend personal and unique ideas to reflect your loved one’s life and the meaning of their life and will endeavour to
fulfil any requests for the special touches that you may require.

The arrangements for the funeral are generally made by visiting one of our offices in Daylesford or Creswick,
or we can also arrange for a home visit if you are unable to come to us.
Although it is not necessary to make an appointment, advance notice of your attendance would be appreciated.
PRICING
Having made the arrangement, you will receive an itemised estimate and confirmation of the arrangements.

VIEWINGS
Saying goodbye for the last time can be difficult
so we are able to offer you the option to view your loved one in private at our Chapel prior to the funeral service.
Some people find it comforting to see the person who has died,
they may choose to place a small memento, gift or photograph into the coffin.
Letters can also help to ease words left unspoken or just messages of love.
Others find it upsetting to see someone they loved who has now passed away.
It really is a personal choice and we aim to help in any way we can.
